Why is Biden in Ukraine when the air is being poisoned in the USA. How long can he avoid doing anything about toxic clouds floating around the country?

@Pitchblue Uh...what? I'm not sure you have a handle on how all this works. But that's not going to stop you though, huh? You have a feeeeling and that's enough.
But you like regulation bud? OK. Then why didn't you answer my simple question? Why did Trump and Republicans, at the urging of corporate lobbyists looking to maximize profit and skirt safety issues for the rail industry, roll back the safety legislation that was in place? Easy question. And it's an easy answer.

@Ynotisay And if Trump and the Republicans rolled back safety regulations why can't Biden put those rules like the new brakes back in place. If you say there isn't a Democrat majority in the house why not bring it to a vote so the Republicans are on record voting against their constituents health and welfare. But no, I don't know how transport safety works. Maybe Pete should be doing his job.

@Pitchblue Come on man. Don't double down. The better call would be to LEARN how legislation around these types of things happens. President's don't have magic wands. And a side note. Republicans CONSISTENTLY vote against their constituents health and welfare. That's their lane. And it's inarguable.
That area impacted is something like 80% Republican. They voted for the people who put them at risk. That's how it works. I bet you did too. And now it's time to be taken care of by the government? That's pretty gutsy, huh? Actions have consequences bud.
People want rail safety, clean air and water? OK. Good. They should. Then maybe vote for the people working to provide that. If not...then suck it up. You get what you pay for. And let's get real. You don't give a shit about those people and this situation. It's just an opportunity to blame the blameless and ignore reality. That's your trip. Not mine.

@Ynotisay Biden hasn't acknowledged how big of a problem this is. He is ignoring reality. It's Norfolk Southern's property and therefore their responsibility so is the government as a whole going to look the other way and do nothing? Norfolk has already repaired the track and is dragging cars through this contaminated mess. How far should they be allowed to spread the contamination?

@Pitchblue also, do we have a Vice President?
@SilkandLace2 True. Kamala is such a disappointment. Almost as bad as Pence. It was insane to see Pence in high profile televised meetings trying to blend into the white paint on the wall. Not a word from Pence.
