If Trump committed a crime, should he be held accountable?

Poll - Total Votes: 48
Of course. No one is above the law.
No, because he will never be convicted, so it's a waste of time.
Trump is incapable of breaking the law. If he appears to have broken the law, it was a bad law.
No, because Hillary/Hunter/etc. did worse.
No, because Trump is God. Whoever charges him with a crime should be arrested for blasphemy.

He's been afforded a very long lease to hang himself. He's gotten away with so many crimes he's a Traitor to America now and still thinks he can walk away from that. He will try to blackmail the country to stay out of jail. Trump is the most dangerous man in the U S. He's trying to start a civil war. He should be prosecuted. If he's not Democracy as we know it is gone. Expect a Republican Dictator in 24.

No, he's literally the second coming of Jesus

iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@deadgerbil it’s so insane that it’s real 🤣
empanadas · 31-35, M
@deadgerbil fuck the sad part is that there's some people who actually believe this
[@deadgerbil unmotherfuckingbelievable
Carla · 61-69, F
He absolutely should. No more, or less, than any other citizen.
But before he is charged, they better have a no lose case.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
Death penalty is what I’m recommending to the DOJ to request for sentencing guidance concerning the aforementioned citizen.
Pretzel · 61-69, M
I'm beginning to think "If" is no longer an issue - just which one and how severe was it
texasborn89 · 31-35, M
yeah but so should Obama and the Clintons etc they've done much worse things and should be in jail
@texasborn89 Gossip isn’t fact, and the article is the same old gossip and conjecture. Who do you think Obama personally murdered, since you also included him in that libel ?
texasborn89 · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard I'm sure he's killed more people than anyone knows about or realizes. how many people has trump killed though,?
@texasborn89 Starting with the thousands of people Trump killed thru dropping the ball on Covid ? Or the police and his own supporter whose deaths he encouraged from the insurrection he set in motion with his lies about "election fraud" ? And your paranoid, probably racist being "sure" about Obama means nothing.

If some people are above the law, then there is no justice
No. You won't want your own party held accountable!
@Roundandroundwego OK, that's one option. Let Trump skate because Republicans will try to get even. I'm willing to take my chances. Remember what happened with Nixon? He won in a landslide in 1972, but a few years later, he was the most hated man in America. When Trump's support collapses, it will collapse quickly. In a few years, all of the people who support him now will be saying they never trusted him, assuming they even admit to supporting him.
@LeopoldBloom and you might say that the Republicans ended welfare and cracked down on the US working class and impeached Clinton to even the score. Hardly worth it.
@Roundandroundwego I don’t want Trump prosecuted to “even the score.” I want him prosecuted because he’s a criminal.
@Roundandroundwego says
Hillary is the one I get my answer. from, actually! She said Merrick Garland has a tough call here, because he doesn't want future Democrats presidents indicted
What is the exact quote from Hillary Clinton please? And when and in what context?

This is kind of important, because you're using Hillary's remarks to claim Hillary doesn't believe justice is possible in the US anymore.
bookerdana · M
I don't think they'll do much ,maybe house arrest like all the white collar big shots but convict..definitely.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
If he threatens violence if he is indicted can we threaten violence back?
Amberswallows · 22-25, F
Not a politician that isn’t a crook. They should all be in jail
@Amberswallows Can we start with Trump?
Dino11 · M
He will be, as we speak.
@Dino11 He won't be indicted until after the midterms.
Of course he should. And if he were almost anyone else, he would be.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
no he should be immune
@MartinTheFirst I'm grateful you don't live here and can't vote. Have you decided between Thierry Baudet or Geert Wilders?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@LeopoldBloom -iiiiiiiiiiiiitch
@MartinTheFirst Google Translate doesn't help with that one. Can you repeat in English, Français, or Bamanankan?

@MarmeeMarch that's perfectly clear. Nixon was indicted, so was Oliver North, by Dems, so Republicans retaliated with punishment of working class people and impeachment of Clinton. Whatever.
