If Trump committed a crime, should he be held accountable?

Poll - Total Votes: 48
Of course. No one is above the law.
No, because he will never be convicted, so it's a waste of time.
Trump is incapable of breaking the law. If he appears to have broken the law, it was a bad law.
No, because Hillary/Hunter/etc. did worse.
No, because Trump is God. Whoever charges him with a crime should be arrested for blasphemy.

No. You won't want your own party held accountable!
@Roundandroundwego Actually, I would. If anyone on my side committed a crime, they should be charged. In fact, it happens all the time. Look up Rod Blagojevich or T. J. Cox.

Are you going to answer the question or play the whatabout game? If Hillary did anything wrong, why did Orange God sit around for four years with his thumb up his ass instead of charging her?
@LeopoldBloom Hillary is the one I get my answer. from, actually! She said Merrick Garland has a tough call here, because he doesn't want future Democrats presidents indicted
@Roundandroundwego Obviously, if Trump is indicted, the next Republican AG will indict Biden just for revenge. So you're saying Trump should skate to protect future Democratic presidents? Thanks, but I'll take my chances.
@LeopoldBloom nope. I'm not saying this system can provide justice at all. I'm saying Hillary knows it can't.
@Roundandroundwego Can you answer a simple question about Trump without bringing up Hillary?
@LeopoldBloom not really -. The results of holding Republicans accountable have always been that the Republicans get even, and then some. In our system justice and progress are impossible.
@Roundandroundwego OK, that's one option. Let Trump skate because Republicans will try to get even. I'm willing to take my chances. Remember what happened with Nixon? He won in a landslide in 1972, but a few years later, he was the most hated man in America. When Trump's support collapses, it will collapse quickly. In a few years, all of the people who support him now will be saying they never trusted him, assuming they even admit to supporting him.
@LeopoldBloom and you might say that the Republicans ended welfare and cracked down on the US working class and impeached Clinton to even the score. Hardly worth it.
@Roundandroundwego I don’t want Trump prosecuted to “even the score.” I want him prosecuted because he’s a criminal.
