Musk No Longer Pretending To Be Objective

Looks like he's got a hit list of Democrat lawmakers.

Senator Elizabeth Warren tweeted:

Let’s be clear: President Biden has the legal authority to cancel student debt. Republican officials need to get out of the way so Americans can get this much-needed relief.

"Twitter" added the following to Senator Warren's tweet, under the header "Readers added context they thought people might want to know":

[quote"...experts disagree on whether the president can authorize widespread debt cancellation through an executive order."

https://www.politifact.com/article/2021/jun/14/can-student-loan-debt-be-canceled-presidents-execu/

"...the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in October temporarily blocked the student loan forgiveness program in response to an emergency motion..."

Interesting way of making the platform open to free speech.
As much as I don't like Elon Musk or the average republican, I don't see the problem here. The articles seem fairly objective and if it is more complicated than the tweet claims, an explanation of why it unfairly puts all blame on republicans is only fair. There are plenty of things that are solely their fault, so oversimplifying this situation isn't needed to discredit them.
@Northwest ah, thanks for explaining. I don't think adding context is censorship, but if he said he did consider it that way and still continues it, then that's a bit weird. On the other hand, it's only been a week or so and he can't change every policy and retrain employees overnight, so maybe he hadn't gotten around to stop that practice yet?

@NerdyPotato No, this is new behavior. The previous warnings used to have a different format. The format is a new feature.
@Northwest then I stand corrected and he definitely came back on his promise.

Asking / begging for forgiveness from a contractual obligation shows your boss that you are a irresponsible person.... Grounds for termination
