You know almost every power generator in the world is a steam engine?

Coal-fire-steam-turbine
Gas-fire-steam-turbine
Nuclear fision-steam-turbine

You know how easy it is to make a steam engine? Everybody could have thier own generator on a garage pad. Then we could all work on creating perpetual energy for our selves. But the government would have to learn to share when someone figures it out rather than take it for themselves.

Alot of the problems we have in the world we only think we cant solve because weve been raised to be reliant on the system. Would we have starving or homless if anyone was aloud to grow food anywhere? Instead the majority is adicted to the news and social media thinking the only life is a 9-5 were we scrounge to balance food and rent.

Humans are far more intelligent and resilient than we are lead to believe. If you broke off from society, what are you capable of? What and where would you go off and learn?

I don't think you know what the term perpetual energy means.

Also steam engines and steam rrubines aren't exactly synonymous. Sure a steam piston engine is simple to make and operate. Steam turbine engines a little bit different. Then there's the efficiency of numerous small scale generators, the mess created, the pollution right next to you, the thermal loss of several small generators, the cost of fuel and maintenance.

I'm all for personal energy production but you just gave perhaps the worst possible method or plan to do so. Not to mention you would be just as reliant on the system just in shifted ways.

@MethDozer my assumption is that if people are prototyping thier own methods of power it would eventually evolve into a form of perpetual energy like a gravity ball or something. More individual minds working independantly then coming together for colaberation. Like public engineering.

@GuyWithOpinions I guess you never learned basic thermodynamics. The law of conservation of energy and mass or the law of entropy.

@MethDozer make heat, boil water, create pressure. Heat is transfered from raw flame to metal to boil water. If the steam is contained in a vessel it increases in pressure pushing the piston to the top until it reach a relief valve. The amount of heat applied determines the spead of the piston and level of insulation determines its efficiency.

@MethDozer if you only require about 30kw/hr and have storage for excess, you dont even need to run it all the time. Just for recharges. Add a couple solar panels and a windmill and your set for good

Is it true what everyone says that you are the guy who invented condoms?

@swirlie read the rest of the thread.
@GuyWithOpinions
I read the whole thread from start to finish. What do you want me to see?
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
@swirlie i dont think he understands what i mean and i thought i explained better but perhaps not🤷‍♂

Im a crazy person anyways, whats it to ya 🤨
@GuyWithOpinions
Oh, so you're talking about MethDozer's response to your ideas?
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
@swirlie haha yeah

@swirlie thats ok, im not bothered by that. I just hope people can understand what im talking about cause i can go on rambling about the most random things sometimes.

@swirlie pot calling kettle black swirlei
@GuyWithOpinions
Oh, I fully understood everything you've spoken about because I've always been a strong advocator of living off the grid and being energy and food self-sufficient.

I'm not Racist! I've made not one Racist comment about you.
