An Unkindness of Ravens

The real test is being kind to unkind people. There is no need to be their reflection.

It's an old saying
Two wrongs never made a right
Morrigan · F
@antonioioio or any eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind
antonioioio · 70-79, M
@Morrigan I've never heard that one but it's so true
SW-User
@antonioioio @Morrigan Agreed! That's the ego.

Matthew :44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,"

Sometimes the so-called unkind people are the ones that are the kindest ones of all. Sometimes they are perceived unkind because sometimes the truth they speak hurts........

antonioioio · 70-79, M

Is ignoring them being kind to them?
Morrigan · F
@RuyLopez sometimes it stops me from saying way too much if I just ignore 🙂

@Morrigan I know exactly what you mean! I try to use comedy to take the edge off but it is at their expense though I'm afraid.....lol Bad Ruy....bad.
SW-User
So right on. Genuine kindness is this.

@SW-User it's easy to pretend with words, so much harder with real action
SW-User
@Morrigan Exactly! Preaching it means nothing.

@Morrigan I'm actually a Cincinnati bengal fan, but I secretly really like the ravens. My friend has had season tickets since their first year of existence, and he used to invite me down when they played the bengals.

@Morrigan The Baltimore "gridiron" team is called the Ravens, in part because Edgar Allen Poe was from Baltimore, and he wrote the poem, The Raven. It's actually a really cool sport nickname.....
