Sometimes, a kind word from a stranger

I found a neighbor in a funk this morning...staring out the window as I was leaving the building...I could FEEL that she was in a bad place. So I told her I could FEEL it, and that I was sorry.

She smiled, then. She told me that things were just all round bad just now...but I could also see she didn't want to tell me more...so I left.

I HOPE I let her know that someone cares!
