To avoid any misunderstanding: I have simply reposted something I found online. I am not the person telling the story, and I am not trying to mislead anyone into believing I am.

For one thing, I have "neighbors", not "neighbours" (which I now see that my spell checker does not even recognize!) 😄

Thats a lovely thing to do. Reminds me of a mother once who said to her child to go next door and borrow some salt. The child asked why, as we have salt. The mother said, "they are not as well off as us. And do occasionally borrow off us. So I want them to feel like they too can help us out, as I know they have their pride."

That is awesome way to keep other’s dignity and help them. Real altruist person.
