The Not-So-Cruel City

Interesting. One of our paramedics at the hockey game last night told me that a couple of mornings ago there was a long line of vehicles waiting to turn…he got closer and found out why.
The vehicles ahead of him were going around a vehicle stopped at the light, no one could be bothered to find out why the driver was just idling there. They all just went on their merry way.
So, him being who he is, decides to pull over on the neighbouring block and walked over to see the driver totally out, tongue hanging out, he was impaired. 😵‍💫
He called out to him, nothing. So he ran his knuckles over his sternum and they guy shot up, looked at him and the sun was shining straight in his face. His pupils were pin pricks. He was totally wasted on an opiate. He told the guy he was passed out, but by this time a cop was driving by (someone did call 911), but he was just on patrol…
The cop put his vehicle right in front of his and attended to the driver…
The driver got pissed at both of them and stepped on the gas, right into the cop car. 😆
So he had to write a big as* report, and now will wait for his subpoena to testify in court, if the guy doesn’t plead guilty.

Wow!!! This makes me so happy…

The other day I was watching a TV episode where some teen actors dine and dashed….the poor waitress is on the verge of tears…and immediately everyone in the restaurant pitches in and give her cash on her tray.

It turns out she has $100 and more in there…

There are good people in this world. They’re the ones that make this world go round?
