The point...I don't know. I feel lost in things I feel I have to do, and in roles I feel I have to play. My adulting became about responsibilities. I feel I've become hidden at some point.

@Casheyane To be fair, I paid my dues, but for me, I have to do what lights me up; it’s imperative. Life is too short to be miserable, and sometimes you have to shake off other people’s expectations to live a life you love.

Having said that, I don’t have children, so if you do, that changes things. I am now caring for my elderly mother, and it’s like having a child, but I fill as much of my time as I can with what brings me joy.
