Sitting on my porch listening to the birds waking up and watching the deer grazing in the field behind my house; sipping my favorite brand of British breakfast tea sweetened with a little honey; then when the sun鈥檚 up I鈥檒l say a prayer to the creator and give thanks for waking up, for the blessings in my life, and do the work that is mine to do.

@PoetryNEmotion It鈥檚 very peaceful. My street backs up to State Park which is also in the path of a major migratory bird route. So the wild life is abundant. I love to sit very quietly early in the morning and just after dusk and watch all the critters - deer, turkeys, fox, coyotes. Lately during the day there I鈥檝e even seen several bald eagles - there are several nests along the lake my subdivision dead ends into. I鈥檓 very blessed to have found this place.

You must live in a hot place to grow nice things like that. It's rain today, so I'll do some shopping, housework and bake some biscuits.
