I Am Trying to Find Happiness

I can't decide if happiness is a thing out there to be found or if its a state of being. I feel like i'm searching around in the dark for something, and i don't even know what it feels like..

I like to think happiness is a life choice. Yes bad things happen in life and they make you sad, but I refuse to believe happiness is just a destination. Because then what?
