It's commonly accepted that just beyond our southern border and through the banana republics and beyond, politicians in collusion with drug gangs, and rampant corruption are what's keeping 3rd world countries as 3rd world countries, and driving millions to seek refuge elsewhere.

Are we really so naive to think that US politicians are less corruptible than their banana republic counterparts?

@Heartlander I can believe that AOC is in cahoots with the worst of the worst. She "invested" that money quickly, without even bothering to investigate where it came from...in a "sustainable avocado farm"...but no one mentioned whether or not that farm was located in Mexico or the USA.

@4meAndyou Isn't the avocado industry connected to illegal drug industry? The connection was in the news a few months ago. But then, the dis-information industry (AKA "the Press") is in cahoots with politicians, so we we may never know where that $70,000 went.

@soar2newhighs That is quite lovely! Food Art!!! No, she was not a manager. In fact she QUIT her later job as a bartender and waitress at a restaurant in Manhattan...due to...get this...alleged sexism and objectification...🤣🤣🤣
