I'm honestly floored by how much republicans have ruined our economy

Today I learned two things about republicans I didn't know before. People blame the fda for things like not regulating supplements but I'm surprised how people don't know that republican led states at the time, waged a lobbying war against the then elected David Kessler, who promised tighter regulations with having to prove that the supplement says what it does.

The fda can only remove supplements after it is proven to cause harm to many.

And during Reagan’s time, he enacted policies that decimated family farms. So basically rural states are blaming democrats for like 50 year old policies or whatever that were started by their own party.

Fascists have to take over fast, while they have the public mandate. But the Republicans may have moved too fast. They annihilated the economy before they had authoritarian control of the government.
