Racism has little, globally, to do with white skin. That's mainly the issue of the US and other "white" nations, but racism is the oppression or denigration of another simply on racial grounds. Yeah, it can show up anywhere.
Thanks for that. I literally had an argument with somebody on a different website, because they said only white people can be racist, and it's not racist to be racist against white people.
All too often, especially in the United States, people conflate racism with elitism. If I'm in a higher social status, I can be elitist against people in a lower status, but they can't be elitist against me. But anybody can be racist against any race.
