Controversial thought (don’t come after me ples 🥹);
Women should be paid more by virtue because products or accessories targeted towards female audiences cost more 😭 like skincare, makeup, dresses, bags etc 😩
If that happened the price of those products would go up as well. I think boycotting those products until prices go down is a better strategy. Obvioiusly not including feminem hygeine products those should be almost given away for free anyway
@MartinTheFirst That's true someone has to be on the hook for it. If your country has any kind of social assistance you probably already pay for some people's tampons just give a couple extra cents and make them availible to everyone. No big deal.
@MrBlueGuy Cents? If females are half of the population and use tampons and stuff every month it should add up to at least 4-5 bucks per month if every person pays for it together. That's not accounting for waste and many other factors.
It think it isn't fair to say it's just us women. Some men spend a lot on self maintenance too.
It's something to do with the lifestyle we have. Men and women, elderlies and children. If we really want, we can live a simple life. But most of us who can afford things don't really want to keep the simple life. We always want better.
But makeup talk. What brands are those? I am not familiar with any of those. I tend to use Korean and Filipino made makeup. Also American and French beauty products. Are they good?
I occasionally buy hair color for men as I can be a bit vain and besides, age discrimination is rampant. Especially during job interviews. Women have differing charms and are beautiful just as they are, especially from the inside.
You have a point. I got a haircut the other day and paid, tip included, $27.00... the woman next to me got her hair trimmed and paid nearly double before the tip. It may have taken 5 minutes longer to trim her hair, but that sure doesn't make up the difference in cost.
I will buy women's products only if they are better. Sometimes men's products are better sometimes women's products are better. And then their is the pink tax to worry about.
