Should Liberals Support the 2nd Amendment?

Think about it, if those crazy right wing nuts do take over, they might come to appreciate that particular right...! Jus sayin'

For the most part we do.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@BackyardShaman I've heard that before, don't always see it in action however.

@GerOttman That’s because you don’t have to shout about something and brandish its every model like a grade schooler to support something.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@Graylight referring to who exactly?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@GerOttman The general "you." It's a habit. You specifically are not included in that remark; it refers to a very visible and very vocal minority.

@Graylight have you noticed how those small but vocal minorities get a lot of attention disproportionate to their numbers..?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@GerOttman Hugely, but that's always the way it's been. Jonestown was the doing of one crazy man and his small contingency. The witch trials of Salem and surrounding towns was simply a crazed society that lost its mind for a few years, not the whole of the new nation, but it's a watermark in our timeline. The fringe has always shouted because they're the ones with the least evidence and authenticity and so as not to be dismissed they stay in the limelight with their antics.
