@GerOttman Hugely, but that's always the way it's been. Jonestown was the doing of one crazy man and his small contingency. The witch trials of Salem and surrounding towns was simply a crazed society that lost its mind for a few years, not the whole of the new nation, but it's a watermark in our timeline. The fringe has always shouted because they're the ones with the least evidence and authenticity and so as not to be dismissed they stay in the limelight with their antics.
