Sorry - fact check. Basic Income Tax in the UK is 20% on income between £12,571 and £50,270. No IC tax below that. Above that it's 40% and doesn't go up to above 45% until £125,140. Not sure where that number comes from, but it suggests I can't trust the other numbers.
Obviously, choosing not to have a government does or doesn't impose high IC or other taxes is a political choice, but you need to be accurate when comparing.
