"You will own nothing and be happy about it!"
That song unintentionally sums it all up. So many things they accused the Left of doing ended up happening under MAGA. They even call out Mark Zuckerberg for being part of the conspiracy. Well, there was no conspiracy, but Zuckerberg did end up joining MAGA because he's a billionaire and that's what happens under Capitalism. Like Marx said, the forces of capital always side with Authoritarianism.

It’s ironic that most people who scream about socialism and how evil it is don’t know anything about it. They literally hate something they don’t know anything about. Pretty much sums up maga.
@Captainjackass yep, that's an issue in many areas. Socialism/communism, diversity in gender & sexuality, reproductive healthcare, mental illness, etc.
At least, under socialism everyone benefits... now, no one benefits...

Yep.
Every accusation is a confession.

Under communism the government owns everything. Under US style capitalism private equity owns everything.
@Crazywaterspring pretty much, if you interpret "everything" a bit loosely. The only difference is that private equity under capitalism owns almost everything for their own gain, while the government under socialism owns almost everything for public use.

@Crazywaterspring I mean it is a bit more complicated than that. Under socialism private property is publicly owned but has no interest in personal property.
Under capitalism it can be argued they also own your personal property as in "digital rights management".
For example a game you purchase through say Steam they can chance or delete without your authorization.
Because purchasing is not owning anymore.
