The issue in the United States should not be the background of the shooters in these crimes, but how is it that these people are able to easily obtain weapons.

@BigGuy2 there are some statistics showing that fifty percent of weapons used to commit crimes were stolen from their owners. I favor a law requiring all gun purchases to show proof they own ways to lock up and or disable their properly owned weapons. I would like to see mandatory education before purchasing one.

@samueltyler2 that should be a given

@BigGuy2 why do the gun-advocates fight against that?

@samueltyler2 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ - it's not my strongest discussion point - gun control, so i don't want to expand on anything i don't know much about, sorry

Less than 10%. 90+% of all firearm homicides are committed by felons. They have at least one felony, but the average is four. It's illegal for a felon to be in possession of the firearm, therefore no matter how it was acquired, it's illegal. So yes, criminals with guns is by far, the bigger issue. And guess where that murderous activity occurs? America's inner cities...typically run by Democrats.
Are criminals the real threat? How many gun deaths in the United States are caused by legally owned guns?
