What is your stance on gun control?

@StrictSouthernHOH Be hard, because criminals have them, and are lawless. My personal experience is being threatened with a semi automatic by a guy with a domestic violation conviction, and defending myself with a hand gun.

But if nothing changes, nothing changes. Innocent people are dying every day. We have to try. Humans don't need military-grade weapons.

@FlowersNButterflies Banning guns, or a type of gun like semiautomatic, may sound good, but doing it constitutionally is the challenge. It also avoids the real problem. People who want to kill people will always find a way to do it. It's not the gun's fault.

@StrictSouthernHOH I don't think so. Look how abortion was decimated and follow suit… when the founders wrote it, muskets were the norm. So just reverse it back to those days…

The efficiency and deadliness in higher foot pound guns is in large part the issue.. this high penetration, damage inducing fire power in the hands of civilians is not justifiable. A .223 will penetrate three people - and still pass through a few walls. It is not required, it is not justifiable that such firearms be in the hands of civilians. No one gets a machine gun or a howitzer or a nuclear bomb.. no one needs a .223 either...The rate of fire, the magazine capacity .. is "convenient" but not required for any justifiable use.. and the idea of self defence as a justifiable use is simply turning residential streets into war zones. There are two justifiable uses for guns, target practice and hunting.. the addition of a third justifiable use of self defence is where the problem starts happening.. and this has to end. @StrictSouthernHOH

@StrictSouthernHOH Abortion will be back. Need to remove the three SCOTUS who lied during their confirmation which will render all decisions which are fruit of the poisoned tree first, though. Fraud should never be rewarded.

@FlowersNButterflies Most SCOTUS nominees have either lied during their confirmation hearings or their opinions on key issues evolves during their justiceships. It is impossible to know if it is the former or the latter.

@StrictSouthernHOH A ban is a ban.. I think there is a compromise no magazine capacity in excess of ten rounds and no one can carry more than two magazines per calibre.. Bill Ruger was correct, limit magazine capacity... and when a criminal gets caught ... they are going to face stiff time, no exemptions...

@pdqsailor1 Felons and DV offenders are BANNED from weapons. Therefore bans already exist and the 2A is already NOT absolute.
