It's hard to care about how others feel when no one cares about how you feel

Another mass shooting later, and the same mental health vs. gun control debate brings its tepid rage to social media feeds. Have we considered that maybe the solution to the problem can't be reached through policy?

All i ever see now is

Guns don't kill people. People kill people.
Yet if i shouted bang no one dies.

Also why don't we just send people to wars and keep the guns at home. If people kill people and guns don't kill people.

@Gangstress The problem is that the playground is already covered in rocks

@TinyViolins you tell a child once. Theyll listen.
Its not hard to teach right from wrong.
See where im coming from, is education.

@Gangstress Well then suppose someone else hits the kid. Maybe someone bigger than them. Do you truly believe a child has the capacity to let this other person get away with it?

If you're a government the idea has been to get bigger rocks until it's a mutually assure destruction should anyone throw one. But that's not going to solve the problem if someone is delusional.

I’m not going to get emotionally involved in this. Americans are proving themselves incapable of change. That’s none of my concern.

You could always cry about it and see how that does. Oh wait…
