@JesseInTX Thousands of people are killed by guns every year in the U.S.. The purpose of Gun laws is to screen out dangerous, unfit people who are a danger to the public. Like in the airport where you have to go through screening. It's really not a hard concept.

@JesseInTX Another gun lobby piece of disinformation. Most guns used in murders, suicides and accidents are legally purchased. The shooter in Texas. Bought TWO AR-15's legally at age 18 which he used to slaughter 21 people. The shooter at Sandy Hook also used legally purchased guns.

@badminton Sandy Hook was purchased legally by his mother and illegal for him to posses. Now what I said is not a gun lobby piece of disinformation. It’s documented fact. Look at the laws already on the books across States and cities. It is damn near impossible to legally purchase/posses a gun in Chicago, NYC, DC, etc. But look at the gun crimes of armed robbery, aggravated assault and murder that is happening there and other places. Look at the rap sheets of those accused, arrested and convicted. Felon after felon. Meaning they can’t legally purchase or posses a firearm by State and Federal law.
