Would US gun control be more likely if...

..the media didn't censor and sanitize mass shootings to avoid "disturbing" viewers. What we see is clean, routine outside shots of police and others walking around the scene, blurred images (if any) of victims, etc., when the reality of today is made up of the screams of terrified children and adults, the bullet-savaged bodies of 18 children lying in pools of their own blood and their classmates' blood on school floors, the pain of the survivors being rushed to hospital. A mass shooting is a horror and we should be forced to confront that horror and not allow it to be hidden from view to prevent America from being "upset" by reality. :'(

@Ferise1 Sure that would work. If they're not under paid, over worked and over stressed as it is. Not to mention the first target of a gunman. Let's add a lethal weapon to the mix.
They're more likely to use it on themselves or to shoot the classroom up then to save the day.

And if you're going to have someone armed in a classroom of 30 kids, what's to stop a kid from trying to get a hold of that gun?

@Ferise1 I just remember what school was like.

I knew plenty of kids who would have tried to snatch a gun off the teacher just for a joke. 3 who would have wanted to use it. And at least 4 teachers my parents would not feel safe leaving us in their care if they were armed. Not to mention the PE teacher would have been able to molest a lot more boys if she had been able to pull a gun on us.

@Ferise1 Who will fund the money to arm every teacher at every school in the country along with training them ? Will it be the "Conservative" party ? Or will it come from increasing the property taxes of the parents that send their children to those schools along with other property owners, Maybe you could ask trump to fund from his charity foundation.

It's estimated that there are 3,708,000 public and private school teachers in elementary and secondary schools right now. Do you think $1.00 per teacher would be enough for your plan?

@Ferise1 When I mentioned his Charity Foundation it was because He was court ordered, 12/10/2019, to pay a total of $2million for illegal use of charity funds, 8 separate charities received $250,000 each.
