Why are you blaming the gun and everyone who owns them
badminton · 61-69, MVIP
@MarineBob It is the easy availability of guns to every lunatic, criminal and halfwit that creates the insane shooting gallery America has become. The purpose of gun control laws is to screen out dangerous people.

We need a federal gun owners license for all gun and ammo purchases. The license would require photo and finger-prints, and completion of a mandatory gun safety training class. Also liability laws and a ban on high-capacity magazines. This murderous insanity has to stop.
@MarineBob Who the hell said anything about all gun owners?
@badminton And how shall we pay for this?

@Pinkstarburst all of the sudden some now agree with a photo ID
@MarineBob I thought showing it to buy one was already a thing.

@MarineBob These are the same people who just a few months ago were screaming about the need to defund the police.

@Heartlander 2021 stats in my state. Legal gun owners used their guns and ammo to donate nearly one million that's ,1,000,000 lbs of processed wild game to feed the less fortunate. And that's only through the share the harvest program. Not counting what is given locally
