@Carazaa He also said in Luke 22:36 "Let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one". And he also made other mentions as well in references to strengthening yourself and being able to wield power. If you are harmless, there is no virtue in causing no harm, because you don't have a choice. but if you are powerful, but don't misuse that power, then you are virtuous. This also ties in with his quote "the meek shall inherit the earth". By meek we understand that that means to wield great power but to not abuse that power. Jesus made it clear that he wanted people to be strong and resourceful on an independent level. And that he wanted people to learn to control that power and use it for good. That is true enlightenment and growth. It is an archetype found in all sorts of literature. Because suffering, love, independence and so on are all experienced on the individual level, rather than the group. So it's the individual that needs to be able to practice these freedoms.

@ExtremeNext Because I can hit you 2-3 times before you can get to me with that knife. In all my training it was shown that a person with a knife could charge and stab a person who's gun was holstered and saw them coming if they were at least 15 feet away from you. They all said if someone has a knife and is coming at you , draw and fire immediately

@TexChik We have to be a loving christian! I remember a girl in the news who had an intruder with a gun. She asked him if she could feed him and read him a story about Jesus He was saved that evening because he was so ashamed. I ran into a guy in a gas station who was going to do a crime and I said to him let me tell you a story about Joseph and his life and what God did for him. He thanked me and went home and did not commit a crime. If he had shot me that would have been Gods will, but God takes good care of me!

@Carazaa I know. The left, and people with similar collectivist or socialist ideas, throughout history engage in the "problem reaction solution" tactic. They rile people up, divide or otherwise create the very problems they claim to want to stop. To then fool people into giving them power which they then misuse and end up creating a far worse situation. The last 4 years has been "I dont like the current president, so let's cause as much havoc as we can, impede anything positive he tries to do every step of the way and then say 'look at how bad trumps' america is'!"

And I'd say they've done this to the point of costing lives. When the pandemic broke, many countries neighbouring china closed their borders and fared much better. Trump wanted to do the same, it's common sense, something cant get into an area if there is no way in. But to many on the left, having an opportunity to call Trump a racist was more important than the lives later destroyed by covid. Heck, I even remember Pelosi encouraging everyone to go down to China Town to hug people. It seemed like they wanted there to be some sort of crisis happen during Trump's presidency, even if it costed real lives. Now, what I said was true, but many live in a world of narratives and of "anyone who disagrees with me is far right propaganda", and will treat what as I've said as if I live in another reality.

@CopperCicada I wrote a long list of governmental regulations a few months ago that other countries have that can help but also it is just a sign of the end and cold hesrts and jesus will come any day.
1. Employers should have laws [b]not to fire[/b] ayone but to place someone in a different department or offer free counseling if an employee has a drug or alcohol problem, or a leave to rest etc.
2. Shorter work days and work weeks people are much more stressed in the USA than Scandinavia
3. MAndatory 5 weeks paid vacation for everyone like in europe
4 More homeless/low income or free apartments
5. More mass transits so people don't have to be so stressed HAVING to buy a car to work
6. More community events for everyone who are isolated, and parks with activities in every community for people to socialize
