The news has turned into a sick joke

Not me sitting here belly laughing at the fact that people like CNN and major news outlets are just now waking up to this new apathetic reality that’s finally starting to shift into focus, while we as a people have been suffocating under the thumb of corporations, governments and rich fucks that are incapable of seeing anyone as more than a number or an opportunity for more profit, they choose to see the retaliation as “animalistic” or a “hate crime”

They lawyered the living heck out of everything. They deregulated themselves, issued licenses to openly brag about sticking their fingers into every corner of human existence and charge a fee, require a subscription, verification, certificate, license, permit, study, oversight, detailed analysis, corroborating filings, follow up studies and a fee for every government revised blank form to be submitted.

Now that a water fountain costs 6 million dollars and you can't get a decent hamburger in a big city for under ten bucks they're telling you and me its our own doing?

If it's not hilarious to you that a poor boy has to stick meat down his pants to feed his kids then it's only because I don't remember Reaganomics sinks all boats theory well enough.

If you are suffering under corporations, it's because you have chosen to do so out of a choice to live a life of drama-fueled grievance. Try using the news as an information source instead of expecting it to do all the work for you and then complaining about it not meeting your needs. You have been given all the tools, It's a gift. Act like you are deserving of it instead of exhibiting the behaviour of a proud victim.

@MarkPaul my whole point is the news is an unreliable propaganda machine and that fact has been proven countless times. And i highly disagree, choice is 100% an illusion when people only give the right tools to people when they know it’ll benefit them even though everyone should have a right to them by default.

@GrazedByTheVoid Yeah, I get your point without needing an explanation. But, the problem with your point is you are misusing and abusing the news. You want to be spoon-fed information that you can literally take to the bank, but that isn't the purpose, scope, or point of the news. Like any information from anywhere, you need to think about what you are being told and apply logic, good hard reasoning, and critical thinking. You need to do the work.

Unless you are living in the time of the telegraph and have somehow found a portal into modern times, you have access to all the tools you need. For ease, let's call it the Internet. Let me know if you need help using it.

I don't think this issue has as much to do with mainstream media as it does with "we the people."
At the end of the day a man was murdered. The system moves forward without skipping a beat.
This is about revenge. And when murder of a person is condoned, outside of the death penalty which has some legal wiggle room, that's a bad precedent. It's also really fucked up human behavior. Particularly because it's being done online.

There's a philosophy problem in the West, I think. The outcomes of conservatives and moderates running our countries is war and austerity. Didn't we all just vote to avoid the left again, and continue with the center and the right, like there's nothing we want to change? If we're not in leftists, why complain about what hurts people or society? We voted to be deadly to each other.
