Been supporting term limits for thirty years now. What's taking so long? Human greed?
beckyromero · 36-40, F
We already have term limits. They are called "elections."
RosaMarie · 46-50, F
I also support a single term for all presidents.

4 terms (8 years) for the house. 2 terms (12 years) for the senate.

@RosaMarie Close, I would go with 4 two year terms for House and 2 four year terms for Senate. We don't need any elected official in office long term. No one should serve more than 8 years unless they are finishing out someone else term at the beginning. Eleven Senators have served more than 40 years and eleven House members more than 49 years. I really don't think that's what the founders had in mind.
