I'll trade you all of our politicians for all of yours.

You guys have a very interesting way of doing politics. In some ways, I like it, but yeah, it gets tiresome, I'm sure. Our Congress engages in this behavior too, even though it can lead to censorship, but only if you are a democrat, at least in this administration. Though Congressman King was censured forever, which I have to wonder why he was still elected since he can't participate in anything that an elected official is supposed to.

I'm not proud to say that the Mother of Parliaments in Westminster probably exported this unlovely spectacle to the 'colonies'. The ,mainly English Public (i.e. private) schools have a lot to answer for.
Look at the European Parliament for a totally different format. It was always good for inducing a snooze.

🇬🇧 🏴 They do during PM's questions on a Wednesday afternoon, which is the only part of the parliamentary week that regularly makes it to the new bulletins. So it gives the impression that MPs are always bickering like teenagers, but that might be a misleading impression.

It's the culture of the place that makes such behavior normalized..
One thing if people are throwing insults and not throwing grenades that's a good thing.. That's a culture you do not want.. A culture of political violence..
