@uikakarotuevegeta Isn't it absolutely astounding what American TV opportunities do to discredit doctors? There used to be standards and a Hippocratic oath for medical doctors to 'Do no harm.' Becoming a politician - being blown like a leaf in a windstorm from breath to breath of the public whim sort of negates that oath. Dr. Fauci saw that and withdrew (or was fired?)

@JollyRoger Healthcare is a fully for-profit industry, so it's infected at the corporate/elite/management level(s) with the same toxicity as any other business sector. Healthcare isn't about making people better, it's about making money and improving lives is just a sideshow. Covid laid that out bare for all to see (those who were not blinkered by the 'medical model').

The 'medical model' is how the healthcare sector 'insures itself' to remain fully profit-driven.

@JollyRoger There are two ways for a society to look at health care. Either as a profit centred opportunity for the corporate sector of Hospitals, medical equipment people and pharamaceutical companies, with no constraints. Or as a provider of public health, with an opportunity for profit, but a responsibility to the people, the government and the future of the community as a whole.. This model looks to develop treatments to allow the greatest benefit to the greatest number to insure the community prospers long term..;😷
