Even without cell phones, CCTV means that you are on several cameras at any given time in public - what's to say they don't drone you that way... Or even watch you using drones???

They could be watching you using your medical records, too... Having a phone isn't that big a deal in 2024

@zonavar68 in the 90s, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo students were selling clickers, that the fire and police department used to turn lights green. It did create a lot of accidents.

While possible, AI makes it far easier, cheaper, and less obvious then a drome missile. For example, a gerryrigged pedestrian traffic light turned green, when it should be red. Boom! A car accident! You're dead! We are none the wiser!
