Should we go back to the Camelot system of government? Watery tarts throwing swords at people to determine the leader?馃

Democracy is still a human right. It's recognized in international law and in the UK, the USA and Europe. We're not holding our breath for the ownership to stop battling against democracy just yet. The population certainly hates the idea! And there's no reason to think NATO won't simply kill us all, even the other animals! Just to keep democracy down.

@Roundandroundwego its an american right one that needs to be upheld. Not everyone in the world has this and actually america is a republican democracy so. . .
Roundandroundwego61-69
@jehova actually, democracy is international law. Everyone does have the right. The same rights.
And the countries all pretend it's their law. nobody thinks NATO and the fifteenth amendment can both be taken seriously. Nobody thinks democracy can survive the American devotion to its jobs under NATO.

@Roundandroundwego ok so groups of ppl (countries) decide to join together to make decisions with elected representatives. It isnt direct democracy. Tberefore. . . Like i ssid.
Roundandroundwego61-69
@jehova it's the law at every level. World citizens can't actually use these rights and rules yet.

@Roundandroundwego its still representatives elected by democratic elections. Then those representtatives vote on behalf of the electorate. Still not direct democray or else citizens would vote on each and every bill. That takes too long. We agree?

@jehova I have no reason to disagree, but I'm not aware of any reason to talk about the nature of democracy in practice, other than as a distraction from the first claim you seemed to be making, that we're sort of free to pick and choose among the various types of regime or government. It's not looking that way, to me.
jehova31-35, M
@Roundandroundwego i agree there its more heres the same two choice no one wants either one but pick one then the result and a dismissive smile that says sucks for u

@jehova that's just the American election. How popular is war in Europe? Do the people in the global south like what's going down in the oil business? Does that population along the border even get a vote on immigration rights in the US? What rights,?- doesn't that MacArthy-ite silence surrounding universal human rights mean we don't have them at all? American people are not making sense anymore. But they're more deadly than ever. The rest of the people march right behind them.

@Roundandroundwego again we agree.
