Her resignation letter might as well have begun with:
"Dear Conservative Party member 2024, I am your leadership candidate."
She even said that Rishi "Does not have the leadership that this country needs." Nudge nudge, wink wink.
She clearly wanted to be fired. Nobody would go against their PM so much as she has done if they intended otherwise. Everything she has done has been to set herself up to be Tory party leader after an expected election defeat next year. She gets to avoid responsibility for that presumed defeat and present herself as an 'authentic' hard-right outsider to her base.

@Burnley123 Did you read it ? NO reasoning given for her appalling behaviour and no mention of it being 'part of an agreed plan' which is how she justified herself when interviewed yet she 'implies' here.......total fantasist !

@Picklebobble2 I did read it. I see her as more of an opportunist than a fantacist.
It's telling the radical right what they want to hear for the benefit of her political ambitions.

@Burnley123 Or Dear Kimi, I'm coming for you!

@Burnley123 I almost feel sympathy for the PM (in a similar way I did for Theresa May a few years back). Having to face this kind of disloyal, unhinged backstabbing on a daily basis. Not a shred of contrition or understanding of her errors in that rambling letter. And to accuse the PM of having no personal mandate just because he did not command a majority of the tiny party membership is beyond parody 😂
It's a wonder that anyone continues in politics these days. David Cameron seems quite a prudent choice on reflection.

@SunshineGirl It's a clusterfudge.

@Burnley123 She is a piece of work.

@Burnley123 That is interesting. I don't follow UK politics quite as in depth but the biggest difference I saw between Sunak and Braverman was that Rishi understands optics.
From what I have read about it seemed like he just got tired of putting out her fires.
If she is trying to get the PM job by moving to the fringe right of even the Tories I wish her luck that she doesn't end up the female version of Maxime Bernier.

@SunshineGirl yes apparently its ok for her to say anything, not tow party line but its RS that's lied and been disloyal

@Burnley123 I can't argue with that!
