Why is BLM (Government) rounding up wild horses

Putting them in pens, and allowing them to die? This is inhumane! Why can’t the government leave these horses to remain running free in the wild? Now they are in captivity on top of each other in horrible conditions dying of infections. You can always count on the government ... to screw things up. 🤦‍♀️ 😢

They tried that under Obama and met with resistance. I read it has something to do with them wanting to sell the land to China and the presence of an endemic species prevents that… but I can’t be sure . It’s been awhile.

What happens to horses rounded up by BLM?
What will happen to these horses? BLM has requested permission from Congress to destroy “excess” horses and to sell them for slaughter. If Congress says yes, most of these horses will be killed.

I hate these evil doers. I think they are terraforming the planet for an alien species. They want total control over everyone on earth. They are getting rid of cows, chickens, and want us to eat bugs. They are doing away with oil and gas, and transportation for ordinary people, and people are already starving because of the food shortages in other parts of the world. They are trying to change the whole planet. If they don’t kill us by starvation, they’ll try something else. @GJOFJ3

like many animals/species, wild mustangs are a protected breed; If you or I were to kill one, you can be fined up to $10,000 and face 5-10 years in prison...

@Budwick Over population is a problem with wild horses. Due to drought and over population I don't blame BLM for rounding up some of the horses, but they need to be sold or relocated and not just left in holding pens indefinitely.

what is BLM corral? i looked it up, bureau of land management, so govt, and they say horses are malnourished and would be taken to another place to live, so this is good
