Why is BLM (Government) rounding up wild horses

Putting them in pens, and allowing them to die? This is inhumane! Why can’t the government leave these horses to remain running free in the wild? Now they are in captivity on top of each other in horrible conditions dying of infections. You can always count on the government ... to screw things up. 🤦‍♀️ 😢

like many animals/species, wild mustangs are a protected breed; If you or I were to kill one, you can be fined up to $10,000 and face 5-10 years in prison...

If the government does it, no big deal...
