It is never enough of a solution as it still ends up with little individual freedom. Eventually you run out of tax money to fund a socialist paradise and turn to a state run economy. You promise great things and deliver none of them.

Soon someone realizes they get the same even if they do less. Next you need someone to oversee to keep the lazy motivated. That overseer thinks they deserve a bit more for the work of purifying the comunity. Soon comes corruption and bribes. The rulers have to keep the workers crushed under tyranny.
True capitalism is harsh but still leads to better outcomes overall. The US has already fallen into a bastardized hybrid of socialism and capitalism (or corporatism if you wish) that puts power in the hands of few. Your proposals just change who's hands wield the whip.
Id much rather have a more libertarian government. One that only serves as a referee and has little actual power.

@Arnoldjrmmer No, communism is putting people first and centering your political power in the inclusive community. It's for peace so you don't need communists in the West, Canada, USA, UK, EU Australia - all not humane and no community is in needed.

Have you ever tried to get a group of individuals to abide by anything without some form of enforcement? Believing humans will ignore their own desires is deluded or it is an outright lie used by those who wish to seize power.
True comunist enclaves may work on small homogenized comunities but comunism fails utterly when it tries to encompass others. This is why the soviet union was expansionist in the 50s thru the 90s. It could not survive when alternatives exist.

@Arnoldjrmmer democracy is the enforcement mechanism is communism. Obviously the population is running its own affairs through democratic government. Not something compatible with wars. Never in Murka! Never socialism, no community - Only war, forever! Because there's no left in US politics.
