@AthrillatheHunt Not only did the stock market soar under Clinton, so did our GDP, so did job creation, and our yearly deficit went to zero! Those are a pretty powerful set of positive economic impacts!

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) entered into force on January 1, 1994. The agreement was signed by President George H. W. Bush on December 17, 1992, and approved by Congress on November 20, 1993.

President (1981-1989) Reagan negotiated and implemented the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement (CUSFTA, precursor to NAFTA) in 1988. It entered into force on Jan 1 1994 under President (1993-2001) Clinton. However, it has much more of Reagan's and Bush's fingerprints on it than Clinton's. You gotta remember that Reagan & Bush 1 were both devotees of free trade.
