People Complaining About Their Jobs Sucking (In The West & Far East)

At least you have a job that can pay the necessities and even be liveable if you didn't waste so much on electronics, clothes, accessories, subscriptions, utilities, transportation, debt, and insurance. These kind of stuff add up if you're not careful and while I do have high financial potential due to what I'm doing, I currently am not really making money at all and have to look for a normie job in the meantime. I still have to live with my parents and continue with setting up my self employment venture, which will probably take me until the end of this year (I started last summer) before I can get the proper funding.

In other parts of the world, even with a job, people can't even afford stuff like the newest iPhone/Samsung or subscribing to multiple streaming platforms or buying luxury handbags or even driving a car (without paying several seasons or even years worth of their wages, unlike here where we only sacrifice a few weeks to a few months). People who are poor in the West are still quite well off compared to the people who are poor elsewhere. I'm obviously not counting homeless, addicts, extreme poverty, and abuse victims; I excluded food and living costs since I know those are caused by corrupt ppl exploiting recent tragedies (plandemic, Ukraine, etc).

I'm between jobs at the moment. The last job did suck. I worked 76 hours a fortnight and only earned enough to scrape by. Due to the wages hadn't seen an increase in 12 years, whilst the cost of everything else keeps going up! And I am a single guy with two dogs to look after. Imagine if I had human dependants? I wouldn't be able to afford it.
@Thevy29 aren't having dogs expensive? And what kind of job are you working? Can't you switch careers? There's many companies that no longer require candidates to have a formal higher education. And of course because many boomers are retiring, you can always enter into the skilled trades.

@uikakarotuevegeta They are, but worth it. I work in Aged Care. The Unions demanded a 25% increase in wages to get it where it needs to be. The Government said it would give a 15% increase with a further 10% increase at a later undisclosed date. That was 2 years ago and we still haven't received anything. I'm looking at TAFE courses to see what's available and have applied for work at MacDonald's (They get paid better then we do)
@Thevy29 I've applied to McDonald's have never heard back from them, ever since they switched to the AI chatbot. Before with the more traditional online app system, I could at least get an interview or 2.

@uikakarotuevegeta Maybe, try again?
@Thevy29 trying again isn't gonna do much, and I already gave McDonald's my cell number, so they can always text me if they wanna interview me which never happened in these past few months
