I live in the country. I have a host of things I can do to amuse myself. My extended family and I live near to each other. We either raise what we need in a garden or a pen, or have neighbors who like to barter.
We're all perfectly fine with finding our own amusements. We'll have nights on the screened porch at one family's house, lobster & clams one night because we have a friend who's a lobstermen, we all have gardens for veggies.....We take care of our tribe.
Occasionally I'll hit a movie at a Cinema or whatever, I can hop a train which takes me in to the Boston Garden for a Celtics game, or a cab from the train during the season for our Red Sox....

The bottom line is that I can live on what's termed a "beer budget"......We live simply here in the country, but we are SO fekkin' wealthy in our relationships with one another. I find it very rare in today's society.

@Freeranger Wow. So you're in Mass. just curious where, as I have family in Plymouth and would like to interview for a position in your tribe.
