Praising Communism While Enjoying All the Benefits of Living Under Capitalism

I've never understood why so many who like to praise communism don't just pack up their stuff (which they wouldn't have if they lived under a communist regime) and move to a communist country. You're free to leave, you know. No one is keeping you in, for example, England, Germany or Canada.
That being the case, why are you still here? If capitalism is so bad, so "oppressive", "racist" and all that other jazz, then GO!
Go on! Leave! Move to China. I'll even buy your plane ticket (one-way of course)! 😊

Couldn’t agree more. I spent plenty of time overseas I’m the military in crappy 3rd world countries and even “modern Western European” countries. No one has the standard of living and freedoms we have. The pot in our country mostly have 1st world probs.

Carrying a gun isn’t paranoid, it’s being prepared, just like you have extra canned goods in your pantry. Not paranoid about food shortage just may be hungry

@Rickinnc Romania one of the less safe countries in the EU but still not a massively high crime rate.
In general europeans don't want to own guns or feel the need to.
The way you compare weapons to food is insane and alien to me.

But yeah crime is less of an issue and I can guarantee you would we have the same amount of guns and the same gun culture like in the US we would have a massive increase in crime.

@Gloomy no need to own a gun? So you’ve forgotten the history of your parents and grandparents? Romania was invaded no less than 3 times during the 20th century and its people subjugated to invading armies. But I guess all the people in Poland in 1939 felt safe too because Hitler and Stalin told them they were just building massive armies for their own self defend

@Rickinnc In a case of an invasion people could hand out weapons but your argument is just insane.

In the US the army could fight the rest would freak out and start shooting each other. Having guns circulate amongst citizens ends in chaos and despair. Way too many shootings in your country.

Know this, with the exception of 1 mass shooting (Las Vegas concert) ALL mass shootings occur in “gun free” zones as malls, clubs, schools. Gun violence is high in cities where gun control laws make it impossible to own a gun as a law abiding citizen.

@Rickinnc It would be an emergency measure maybe but if smaller countries are invaded best thing is to simply leave.

The issue is not whether people could have shot a shooter it is that someone had the means and need to do it in the first place

@Rickinnc There no envy. I wouldn’t trade places with you for all the dollars in Vegas. Nobody in my country is burning their own cities, breaking into government institutions or shooting up schools. You can keep it.
