What on earth did Marx mean when he said that weak races should perish in his revolutionary holocaust? [I Think American Education Is Steering Us Toward Communism]

helenS · 36-40, F
Where did Dr. Marx say that?
Source please.

@helenS I'll take facts over the "honesty" someone has for their own ideology, any day.

@pianoplayingsteve Steve I would recommend that you stop playing your piano for a couple of hours, and read some pages that Dr. Marx really wrote. It's interesting to see how self-contradictory his writings are. But really it has nothing to do with "weak races" and the holocaust.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@helenS I have. I have delved into the works of both Marx, Hitler, and quite a few other infamous figures. I recommend you do, too. Rather than linking me to a site telling me that is all the evidence I need. You know full well a page dedicated to propagating its own ideology is not going to fairly criticise its on ideas. And that isn't just a marxist site. I similarly wouldn't view one Islamic site as the authority on Islam. It's great when people who have never read a single page of the quran or visited a mosque tell me, who have done both, what I should think to Islam. Or christianity in the same context. Or Marxism in this case. I devour books of history, religion, science, psychology etcand actually gave Das Kapital another go through a couple of days ago. My past time is researching. I dont enjoy going out drinking, or films, or sleeping round. (and that is not to say you do, I am sure you are intelligent) I research, it's fun. I have the bible, book of mormon and quran set beside me at this very moment. I have not assumed any ignorance of you, so please, do not do the same to me. Thank you.

I know what he probably meant when he wrote to people like Engels calling people niggers and constantly complained about jewish people and their "jew-like facial features". People look up to him like he's this paragon of the people, guy seems like a real cunt tbh.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@Ryannnnnn On top of all that he lived off of his parents' capitalist wealth. No wonder many in Antifa like him. Racist, lazy, intolerant.

Marx such as many of the elite today believe they are special and should be allowed comforts that others may not.
I've never heard of him having ever said such a thing.
In which work did he say it and on what page?
If I have the reference, I'll look it up.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@hartfire "People's Paper" (Marx, April 16, 1856). You can find it in the Journal of the History of Ideas, Vol 12, No 1. 1981

You are telling me you have had no idea of the racism and genocide that came from communists and marxists since Marx?
@pianoplayingsteve
I am aware of the genocides, especially under Stalin, Lenin and Mao. I am aware that racist persecutions, especially of Jews in Russia and all religious groups in China were a major feature of those regimes - and I would never for one second support any of those practices. Nothing could be more morally wrong or abhorrent.

I knew that Marx believed that only a revolution could overthrow the old injustices, and that he was against all religion. But I did not know that he advocated racism.

I will look up the reference. Thank you very much for providing it.

When examining socialist goals, policies and methods, it's useful to separate the different types. There are so many different versions now - several incompatible with the others - including one version of "anarchy."

As I understand it, in contemporary socialist thinking, Marxism is still studied as a foundation - but it's proposed methods of achieving its goals are no longer accepted
.
Contemporary socialism strongly opposes racism, sexism, and any kind of prejudice against a person for things like disability, age, or other traits over which they have no control.
Most (but not all) forms of socialism still strongly oppose religion. It holds the policy that adults may have freedom of faith; that teaching science, logic and critical thinking should be mandatory in all schools; and that children should learn about the beliefs of all religions in schools, but may not be permitted to be taught only one faith.
I can see why religious parents would strongly object to such policies.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@hartfire Where did you get that definition of socialism? It is these collectivistic socialistic attitudes that give the state the most power to persecute minorities and it has always been rife in socialistic societies for that very reason.

Socialism is simply the pooling of some or all resources between an agreed upon in group. I like definite, clear definitions that you'd find in a science textbook. Leaves no room for confusion or bias.

Not as funny as the usual stuff from Groucho

Reading Marx again?
helenS · 36-40, F
@Human1000 Not a single line. He's just pretending.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@Human1000 this person views internet articles as more credible than original books and actual historians
