@Munumbis Sorry, the old red baiting routine won't work. We have socialism in America - for the wealthy and corporations . They call it bail-outs, subsides, tax breaks, stock buy- backs, etc. The tax system is rigged so the wealthy and corporations pay nearly nothing in taxes. Huge parts of their income is declared non- taxable. We the common people have to make up the difference.
@Munumbis It spreads it to those who can't work (children and pensioners), but will become productive workers in the future so long as they are not excluded from education and employment opportunities (children) or will be active consumers so long as they are not left to starve to death (pensioners). Without taxation, a large proportion of capital remains dormant and unproductive in bank accounts or illiquid assets such as real estate.
