missyann excellent job completely missing the point of my post.
Your fried foods were still whole foods. Your body processes and handles those better. Yes, exercise and work also helps burn calories, but it does NOT change the fact that the most affordable food in US cities are junk food. High calorie, low nutrient junk that leads to health problems even for people who do work off those calories.
Rural areas can still get some good produce and whole meat prices. Notice I did not say a damn thing about organic. I think organic is largely a marketing gimmick and a terrible approach for providing enough food for the public.
As for being the victim, I am doing fairly well. But if a company like Amazon or Walmart or Tesla pays any employee minimum wage while the executive staff take in millions or even billions of dollars, that minimum wage worker is being exploited, and I would consider that victimization. Yes, it may have always happened that way. But progress is about changing the way things have always been for the better.
Why do you people like yourself always question what people below you are entitled to but never question whether the wealthy are entitled to exploit the labor of their fellow humans and the natural resources of the earth to such extents that they do?
