thebigm yes I do not mind a friendly general discussion on the subject but some get a bit uppity if you criticise the person they support or you do not agree with there thinking but people are different and have different views which makes us unique from other creatures far as respect that is true but some are just damn right rude or simply block you if you cannot see there point of view

They want all to AGREE with their point of view... or you're the devil
I can see many points of view and the reasoning behind them, I can tolerate almost any lifestyle choice, preference or predilection. I see value in almost every person I come across.
I'm not close minded to listening and I research all my own facts, and check the "facts" that others espouse. I just don't think that internet rants help a chosen position from any aspect.

Some points of view are repugnant by definition. Racism, sexism and pedophilia fall into that category, for example. There's no "pro" side that I feel the need to respect. Electing Trump, from my perspective, meant our country can't ever claim that racism or sexism is a deal-breaker in choosing a candidate.
