Did people overreact to Trump and excessively demonize him?

@katielass: I think she was kidding katie, that's really uncalled for and speaks volumes how thin skinned you are when someone even jokingly insinuates they want "dirt" on a sitting president, which is one of the oldest American traditions around (see political cartoons of the 1800 election for farther evidence) Furthermore i would argue that "most" of the populist, American or not, do not adequately inform themselves on the contemporary political aspects of the executive and their dealings, so lashing out in such a distinctly immature manner does nothing but breaks down the dialogue of that informative transfer of topical events.
