Raman is a practicing Hindu. What the hell is happeneing to America?

First, we have Abdul Al-Sayed going to Congress as a US Senator. And now, a Hindu called Raman from Kerala running Los Angeles as its mayor. To be fair, LA is as dirty as Cennai. Raman is going to fit in fine. Sayed is a different kettle of fish. He will give the American hustler aka Donald Trump a run for his money. Trump will suffer death by a thousand cuts if he ever tries to make a deal with the newly minted US Senator from Egypt.

Do I sound racist?

Yes, you do.

@Elessar
I'm staying a fact too. You're judging politicians purely on the basis of race/religion/origin and not on policy.

What's wrong with that way of judging? Don't scientists base their objective judgments on human behavioral patterns also?

That sounds pretty racist to me.

I am sure it does if your socialization conditions you to view things a certain way.

Cherry on top of the cake, you yourself asked if it sounds racist, implying you know it is.

What I know is that there are people, like you, who would say it's racist. I drop a bait and you bite. I haul you up and want to check you out, objectively.

@sree251 I'm not debating right or wrong, I'm pointing out it's the textbook definition of racism.

Racism is the belief that groups of humans possess different behavioral traits corresponding to inherited attributes and can be divided based on the superiority of one race or ethnicity over another. It may also mean prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against other people because they are of a different ethnic background. Modern variants of racism are often based in social perceptions of biological differences between peoples. These views can take the form of social actions, practices or beliefs, or political systems in which different races are ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities

Don't scientists base their objective judgments on human behavioral patterns also?
There have been attempts to legitimize racist beliefs through scientific means, such as scientific racism, which have been overwhelmingly shown to be unfounded

What I know is that there are people, like you, who would say it's racist
People who can read and apply a definition? I'm saying it's racist because it is, by definition.

Rightoid makes a racist post and get angry at being called racist, more news at 2.

Yes. Since when has a person's religion or country of birth been a relevant criterion in their ability to carry out public office?
