Just dance!

"I was buying a coffee in the Car Wash after filling up my car", William Dorrough told reporters in Halfmoon, Saratoga County, "When a sign on the cash register stopped me. It said 'Want a discount? Then show us your best dance move.' The store manager assured me it was genuine and persuaded me to show off my signature dance move. There was no music, so I just hummed my own tune and pulled out my trademark flourish, straightening my arms and bouncing low tp the ground. I got a 20% discount, which with gas prices being so high certainly did not hurt."

Store spokeswoman Paula Sirtori explained that "Customers come in to get gas, and that's just like a defeating feeling. So when they come inside they see the promotional sign and it makes them feel a bit happier. We video the customers dancing and post them on social media. There are no strict rules. They can turn the store into their dance floor or simply wiggle their shoulders."

Durrough described himself as "Quiet and laid back - but there's a lot of stress out there so it was just fun to give people something to laugh at." 🕺

I dance at home while cooking or cleaning and randomly do cartwheels and handstands! 🤭🤭🤭

I think offering consumers a discount on gas for simply showing off their dance moves is a great idea. It reminds me of a song about hungery people getting fed if they showed off their dance moves. Cheers and happy weekend!

It's good to hear of someone having some innocent fun! Makes a pleasant change from a lot of the news lately.
