Trump Wants to Allow COMMUNIST CHINA to Build Cars in the U.S.

President Trump said Friday he would permit Chinese automakers to move manufacturing to the U.S. over the protest of American automakers.

“If China wanted to come in and open a plant to build their cars here, I’d be OK with it,” the president told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle.”

Right… after all, increasing the productive capacity of the US economy notoriously undermines national security interests. That’s a rather exotic take.

The preponderance of the President‘s trade and foreign economic policies are misguided, uneconomical and predicated on mercurial theories. Inviting and encouraging foreign direct investment, however, is not one those more unorthodox policies.

Would you rather the Chinese build the factories in either of the two other Nafta/USMCA members to then export the cars to the US market?

I would rather have a NAFTA-like trade treaty that specifies no tariffs on goods manufactured in Canada or Mexico that are produced by Canadian-owned or Mexican-owned companies employing Canadian and Mexican workers.

But a Chinese-owned company would be so heavily tariffed that it wouldn't be able to compete against U.S.-owned, Canadian-owned or Mexican-owned companies in the NAFTA market.

In other words, a uniform trade policy that greatly reduces Chinese economic influence in all three nations.

its very simple really, ask why the USA is having so many manufacturing problems at home and abaord and you will find it ALL goes back to the President

YOU can not attack your allies consitsantly and expect them to want to do trade deals and buy your goods of which the majority never ever male it into Europe becuase of the USA extrmely low standards

I would say that Trump didn't start the trend of us having manufacturing problems at home, but he is certainly has exacerbated it.

the bigger problem though is Trump as now other couties have gone elsewhere and won"t return to trade with the USA again
