People only care about the Epstein files...

insomuch how it identifies people they oppose politically in the hopes it can be used to take them out of power....when people say there is no news on the Epstein files, they mean there is no news on the people I oppose politically in regards to the Epstein Files.

It's even worse than that: the police investigated boatloads of people with some (often extremely tenuous) connections to a sexually abusive monster, found so little evidence of wrongdoing that they couldn't justify seeking warrants, and now people want to know who was being investigated- which could serve no possible purpose but to justify punishing them. Guilt by accusation, even WITH a marked lack of evidence.

When I was young, we recognized McCarthyism as a bad thing; today we have people angry at politicians because they don't support it enough. Star Wars was wrong; liberty doesn't die with thunderous applause, it dies with angry shouts of it not dying fast enough.

All that i know want whomever is implicated, be exposed. No matter their affiliations.
On another note...why are so many of those files being withheld and redactions not unredacted as prescribed by law?
There are reasons for cover ups. And reasons to postpone, obfuscate and lie about those files.
We all know trump was a democrat on and off during his epstein years.
I feel certain many other people involved are people of all different political leanings.
Monsters come in all forms.

It is becoming a joke, which is sad given the seriousness of the crime. I think part of that joke stems from the Qanon nonsense. Those who truly care don’t want things like this to happen again and want those involved to have their lives ruined and don’t care what side of the aisle they are on. Doesn’t matter if it is Trump or Clinton or anyone else. Notice hardly anyone is defending Swalwell. Then there are realists who recognize this stuff still goes on and will continue to go on unless politics is taken out of it and the problem can be addressed.

@trollslayer Epstein was convicted in 2008. The Democrats were running the country from 2008 to 2016 and they didn't say or do shit about it.

Nobody cared until Alexander Acosta was picked as Trumps Labor Secretary and the press used Acosta's approval of the sweetheart deal he gave to Epstein to shame him into resigning.

Then suddenly Epstein was arrested, charged, and then either died or was killed.

Again, when the Democrats were running the country from 2020 to 2024, they did not make any issue out of Epstein. They did not open any investigations and they did not mention him.

In fact, most people ignored the story again, until it looked like they could be used to attack Trump.

Now suddenly, you all believe there is this secret trove of documents that implicate Trump and prove he is a pedophile.

Yet, you can't actually produce that evidence, save except some hearsay and deranged idiots making up fantastical stories
