If your proposed solution is to allow a select few to make all the choices, I’ll have to say that I’ll take a hard pass on something that would quickly turn into a theocratic dictatorship….

It’s this sentiment that has put the US on its current trajectory. People who believe in flat earth, lizard men, Qanon, are deciding who your national law and state policy makers are.

I'm sure there are some people who said something anti-democracy at one point, then they grew as a person, and ten years later they're pro-democracy. We have courts to sort things like that out. But when it comes to people who voted for Trump in every primary and general, they 100% should be banned from voting or holding public office.
